What will my child learn in Keyboard Theory Classes?

There is so much to learn about music, it is impossible to teach students everything they need to know during piano lessons. This is why Keyboard Theory Classes are so helpful to students who want to know why and how the music they are learning works? Students have many questions such as,

Why do these notes sound nice together?

Why does this chord work here?

How do I change keys?

How are songs put together?

Can I compose my own music?

What is the difference between a major and minor key?

What is a chord progression, or a bass line?

What gives a song its jazzy beat or lyrical melody?

These are just a few of the questions students will eventually want answers to. Without the benefit of theory knowledge and experience that has been accumulated over time, however, the answers are difficult for students to grasp. That is why it's important for students to have keyboard theory classes along with their regular piano lessons. This way music knowledge grows with them over time, and becomes readily accessible - at their fingertips!

Give your child the gift of music understanding with Keyboard Theory Classes.
